Impacts and achievements

To date we have reached more than 10,000 girls with our products and services in the most remote and underserved communities in Uganda. For each of these girls, having a ready pad to use each month, translates into worry lifted, dignity restored and the opportunity to thrive.

This by far, is our greatest achievement. Malaika Reusable Pads has restored hope among girls who would otherwise miss school to be able to stay in school and have a fighting chance to end the cycle of poverty in their own lives.

Our factory employs marginalized girls and women most of whom are teenage mothers or single parents. By so doing we give them an opportunity to earn a decent income and fend for their families.
